FRESH ON THE TABLE
The Larein Alp has its own dairy, in which the fresh milk is processed into a wide variety of products every day. Whether it’s milk, butter or cheese – Gourmets find what they are looking for here.
The meat of the animals is processed in the Maashof’s own butcher’s shop and in compliance with the highest standards. The result are delicacies such as Schüblige (sausages), alpine bacon, lard and salami.
All products are served directly in the hut and can also be bought by guests there.
The Larein cheese is a particular highlight. The alp team has been able to prove the quality of the cheese at the Alpine Cheese Olympiad in Galtür several times and the cheese has received numerous awards. Regardless of whether it is herbal cheese, seasoned cheese or alpine cheese – quality and taste are very important to the Zangerl family in all of their products.
