ANIMAL PARADISE

In summer, the Larein Alp is home to 70 cows, over 35 pigs, rabbits and miniature goats.

The family’s greatest pride are their self-bred Wagyu cattle, who particularly enjoy grazing in the heights.
The pigs lack nothing, either, during their summer vacation in the Larein valley. They can relax all day long and enjoy the mountain air under a covered stable. On the alpine pasture, the animals get only the best concentrated feed, bread and whey and they are offered a spacious outdoor area that they can visit at any time.

Out of respect and passion

The four bunnies Tom, Jerry, Max and Oscar are the pride of the youngest members of the Zangerl family. The kids never miss an opportunity to visit the animals to stroke and take care of them. The miniature goat Amanda and the little calves in the stable are also worth a visit.

The love for animals and their respectful treatment is very important to the entire family. Maria and Peter Zangerl show that a concept remote from the idea of business profits, with a lot of heart and love for tradition can also work.
